Remove bounce emails can hurt your sender reputation, preventing future campaigns and newsletters from reaching your subscribers’ inboxes. The best way to avoid this is by regularly cleaning your list of bounced emails.
Using a combination of regular lists clean-up and well-constructed messages, you can reduce your bounce rate and maintain a healthy deliverability rating that will allow you to continue to grow your business.
IP Checker Blacklist: Protect Your Network
A soft bounce occurs when the email address is not valid or does not exist. Whether it is a typo, the email account has been closed or they have changed jobs (and therefore their email addresses), or it’s simply a spam trap designed to catch marketers like you and block your emails, this is not an address you should continue to try to send to. In fact, continuing to send to a non-existent email could result in the recipient ending up on a blacklist, which would impact all of your future email sending.
You can view a list of all of your soft bounces in your Klaviyo dashboard by selecting “Email Bounces” from the Tools dropdown menu. From here, you can export a list of all of your Contacts who have soft bounced so that you can manually review and delete these profiles. Alternatively, you can create a filter in your Active List to quickly identify these profiles and remove them from your mailings. If you find that you have a high number of profiles that have chronically soft bounced, you can also use this feature to automatically suppress these profiles from receiving any future emails.
